We’re wrapping up the year with several long-awaited updates in Varbi. On December 3, we will launch major improvements in competency-based recruitment (CBR) and volume recruitment, and take a look at the upcoming system notifications feature.
A warm thank you to all customers who have contributed with feedback and testing during the development process — these improvements are designed to make your work in Varbi even smoother, smarter, and more streamlined.
We are now taking the next step to make it easier to work with competency-based recruitment directly in Varbi for those of you who use this (add-on module). On December 3, several new features will be launched in the CBR module, giving you better oversight, more flexibility, and greater control over how you work with competencies in your recruitment processes.
With the new tools in the CBR module, you will be able to:
To begin using the new tools, you need to create a copy of your frameworks through the new administrator view. The functionality does not activate frameworks automatically, giving you full control over when and how the changes are introduced in your organization. A step-by-step guide will be available in the Knowledge Base via the Support menu starting on launch day, December 3.
Upcoming updates will include additional features, such as selecting interview questions in interview templates and more help texts to support your workflow.

Managing large numbers of candidates is now becoming easier. On December 3, we will launch the first step in our new workflow for volume recruitment – a workflow that makes it possible to work with multiple hiring groups within the same recruitment process.
As part of Varbi’s volume recruitment offering, we are introducing features that make the work both more focused and better coordinated:
Administrators can now create multiple recruitment or work groups within a single recruitment process.
This allows different teams to work in parallel within the same recruitment process — while maintaining oversight, order, and structure.
Following this initial release, we will continue with the next step: enabling interview management per hiring group, making the volume recruitment workflow even more complete.
The functionality can be activated for all customers with the volume recruitment module starting December 3. Contact support if you’d like to enable it!

On December 3, we are launching the ability to create project roles in the Admin interface. Roles can be restricted by department and then assigned to individuals within a project group to control permissions and responsibilities in recruitment processes.
Going forward, we will continue developing additional role-related functionality, such as predefined notifications per role and the ability to customise views and features in a recruitment case based on the role assigned to each person.
On December 3, we are launching a notification bell in the system, where all events that are currently sent via email will be collected in one place.
After the initial launch, we will continue working on adding more event types and developing summary reminder emails, providing an even clearer overview of what has happened since you last logged into the system.
